Ingredients
- 5 large sweet potatoes, washed
- 1 stick butter, room temp
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- salt
- TOPPING
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 5 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
How To Make whipped sweet potatoes with brown sugar crumble

Step 1Heat the oven to 400 degrees F. Prick the potatoes and place on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake until soft, about 1 1/2 hours.

Step 2Remove and set aside until cool enough to handle. Pull the skins off the potatoes and add them to a bowl.

Step 3Add the butter, heavy cream, and vanilla. Beat with beaters or a stand mixer until smooth. Taste and season with salt.

Step 4Grease an 8 x 10 baking pan and add the sweet potato mixture.

Step 5Turn the oven down to 350 and bake for about 15 minutes.

Step 6Mix the ingredients for the topping and put them on top of the sweet potatoes.

Step 7Bake another 15 minutes. Serve immediately.
