During those great summer cookouts we have, this is a favorite among all our friends. This is a simple side you throw together and pop in the oven.

Ingredients

  • 8 - red potatoes
  • 1 large cabbage
  • 1 package baby carrots
  • 1 medium red onion
  • 2 sticks butter or margerine
  • - salt
  • - crushed peppercorns, tricolored

How To Make veggies

  • Step 1
    rinse and cube potatoes, "do not peel". rinse all other veggies. tear apart the cabbage, slice onion in large slices.
  • Step 2
    layer potatoes on the bottom of a metal pan, cube 1/2 stick of butter over the top of them, salt and pepper. layer onion, layer carrots cube 1/2 stick of butter over the top of carrots, top with the cabbage salt and pepper generously, the add one stick of butter cubed on the top.
  • Step 3
    Cover with reynolds wrap. bake at 400 degrees for atleast 2 hours 30 mins. I usually leave mine in the oven for around 3 hours if I have the extra time.
