During those great summer cookouts we have, this is a favorite among all our friends. This is a simple side you throw together and pop in the oven.

Ingredients

8
red potatoes
1 large
cabbage
1 pkg
baby carrots
1 medium
red onion
2 stick
butter or margerine
salt
crushed peppercorns, tricolored

How to Make Veggies

Step-by-Step

  • 1rinse and cube potatoes, "do not peel". rinse all other veggies. tear apart the cabbage, slice onion in large slices.
  • 2layer potatoes on the bottom of a metal pan, cube 1/2 stick of butter over the top of them, salt and pepper.
    layer onion, layer carrots cube 1/2 stick of butter over the top of carrots, top with the cabbage salt and pepper generously, the add one stick of butter cubed on the top.
  • 3Cover with reynolds wrap. bake at 400 degrees for atleast 2 hours 30 mins. I usually leave mine in the oven for around 3 hours if I have the extra time.
