My mother passed this recipe to me when she was 87 years young. This is so simple to make. If you wish, brown ground beef or chicken and add to veggies.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • TOPPING INGREDIENTS
  • - parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup buttery cracker crumbs

How To Make vegetable casserole

  • Step 1
    Combine mixed vegetables with remaining ingredients and mix well by hand.
  • Step 2
    Pour into baking dish and sprinkle with the parmesan cheese and crackers.
  • Step 3
    Bake in a 325 oven for 30 minutes.
