A great holiday side dish for Christmas, Thanksgiving or Easter. I work in a retirement community in dining services and my residents love for me to make this at home and bring it in as a special treat on holidays.

Ingredients

  • 1 can 12 oz white shoe peg corn drained
  • 1 can 16 oz french cut green bean drained
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onoin, chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrots,sliced and quartered into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar, grated
  • 1 can crm of celery soup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup ritz cracker crumbs *topping*
  • 1/2 stick butter melted*topping*
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds*topping*

How To Make vegetable casserole

  • Step 1
    mix all ingredients except topping. Place in 1 1/2 qt casserole. Sprinkle topping over casserole. Bake @ 350 for 45 mins.
