A cool salad for summer. Make one day ahead. Great with meat from the grill.

Ingredients

  • 1 can french cut green beans
  • 1 can english peas
  • 1 can whole kernal corn
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 1 jar (2 oz) pimiento
  • DRESSING
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash black pepper
  • 1 cup white vinegar

How To Make vegatable salad

  • Step 1
    Drain into a colander all of the vegatables. When drained, place in bowl.
  • Step 2
    Mix together the dressing ingredients and pour over the vegetables and stir until coated. Refrigerate at least 1 day before serving.
