Blue Ribbon Recipe
When I read this recipe I knew I would like it. As it turns out, we ALL loved it (even my mother-in-law who is hard to impress!) The sweetness of the tomato and the creaminess of the cheeses is a perfect combination. You can bet I will be making these again!! The Test Kitchen
4 largetomatoes skin on sliced a little over an 1/2 inch thick
1/2 cricotta cheese
1 cmozzarella cheese shredded
1/2 cparmesan cheese
1/4 cgood mayonaise
·salt and pepper to taste
How to Make TOMATO SURPRISE
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 350
SLICE TOMATOES AND PLACE ON AN SPRAYED BAKING PAN(ONE WITH SIDES)SALT AND PEPPER TOMATOES TO TASTE.
IN A BOWL MIX CHEESES AND MAYONAISE. PLACE ONE TEASPOON OF MIXTURE ON A SLICE OF TOMATOE.
BAKE TILL BUBBLEY. AROUND 10 TO 15 MINUTES
- I USE THIS IN PLACE OF AN SALAD WHEN GRILLING STEAKS OR USE AS AN SIDE WITH A MEAL.
