    pre-baked pie shell
  • 4 medium
    tomatoes peeled, sliced, drained
  • 10
    fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 c
    shredded mozarella cheese
  • 1 c
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan cheese
  • ·
    salt & pepper

How to Make Tomato Pie


  1. Bake pie shell.
  2. Peel and slice tomatoes. Drain in colander for 10 minutes.
  3. Layer tomatoes, basil and onion in pre-baked pie shell. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Combine mayonnaise and mozarella and parmesan cheeses. Spread over tomatoes.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees until browned 30-35 minutes.
