Ingredients
- - 6 medium tomatoes (2 lbs.) halved
- - 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick)
- - 6 oz. blue cheese, crumbled (about 1 1/2 cups)
- - 1/4 cup half and half
- - 2 tbsp. finely chopped parsley
- - 1/2 t. salt
- - 1/4 t. pepper
How To Make tomato halves with blue cheese sauce

Step 1Preheat oven to 250 (slow).

Step 2Melt butter in large skillet over medium high heat. Add tomatoes, cut side down, cook 3 minutes. Turn tomatoes over, cook 2 to 3 minutes. Remove to serving platter. Keep warm in 250 oven

Step 3. Stir cheese, half and half, parsley, salt and pepper into skillet. Cook over medium heat, whisking occasionally until smooth and bubbling slightly. Pour over tomatoes. Serve hot. Serves 6
