How to Make Tomato Halves with Blue Cheese Sauce
- 1Preheat oven to 250 (slow).
- 2Melt butter in large skillet over medium high heat. Add tomatoes, cut side down, cook 3 minutes. Turn tomatoes over, cook 2 to 3 minutes. Remove to serving platter. Keep warm in 250 oven
- 3. Stir cheese, half and half, parsley, salt and pepper into skillet. Cook over medium heat, whisking occasionally until smooth and bubbling slightly. Pour over tomatoes. Serve hot. Serves 6
