I have this old recipe and in my notes it says a colorful addition to any meal. I hope someone likes this or remember it.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 - stick of butter
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups cubed soft bread crumbs
  • 10 1/2 ounces can of tomato puree
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

How To Make tomato bread pudding casserole

  • Step 1
    Melt butter; pour over bread and toss. Heat the tomato puree, water, salt and brown sugar. Simmer 5 minutes, then pour over bread cubes. Toss. Bake in a 1 1/2 - quart covered casserole for 45 minutes.
