I normally make these to go with steaks, but lately with the high price of beef, ground beef is all that's in the budget. I made these the last few times to go on burgers and topped it off with a slice of Swiss cheese. SUPER GOOD.

Ingredients For tipsy mushrooms

  • 1/2 stick
    butter
  • 2
    chopped scallions or 1 small chopped shallot
  • 2-3 clove
    garlic chopped
  • 8 oz
    carton of mushrooms sliced
  • salt and pepper
  • a good splash of red wine you intend to drink with dinner (or you could use beef broth)

How To Make tipsy mushrooms

    Melt butter in the pan, add the veggies, saute for about 10 minutes, then add the wine and s&p.
