tasty green bean bundles

I don't particularly like green beans from a can, but I do like these. They are easy to prepare, and you just might be able to persuade green bean hating kids (and adults) to try them! *Of course, they would be even better made with freshly cooked beans! Multiply ingredients for more servings. P.S. You can also cut the green beans in half before wrapping in bacon, stick a toothpick in each and serve as an appetizer!

Ingredients

  • 1 can whole green beans (14.5 oz)
  • 5-6 ounces bacon slices, cut in half
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/6 to 1/3 cup brown sugar, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

How To Make tasty green bean bundles

  • Step 1
    Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a small baking dish.
  • Step 2
    Wrap one bacon half around a bundle of green beans and place in baking dish. Repeat with rest of green beans and bacon.
  • Step 3
    Combine butter and brown sugar, pour over green beans. Sprinkle with garlic salt.
  • Step 4
    Cover with lid or foil and bake for 25 to 35 minutes.
