This recipe was given to me by a friend from Guadalajara. It is a mild,very tasty treatment of carrots, and is a perfect foil for a spicy main dish.

Ingredients
- 8 - carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup minced parsley or cilantro
How To Make tasty carrots baked in milk

Step 1Place carrots in a buttered 1 and 1/2 qt casserole. Cover with a mixture of the milk, sugar, salt and pepper. Dot with butter and sprinkle with parsley or cilantro.

Step 2Cover the casserole tightly with foil or a lid and cook in a 350 degree oven for one hour, or until carrots are tender when pierced.
