This is my favorite way to eat green beans! I'm a huge mushroom lover, so I usually use two cans! This side dish goes great with grilled pork chops!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans cut green beans
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 package ranch dressing mix
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup real bacon bits

How To Make tangy southwest green beans

  • Step 1
    Heat skillet then add both cans of drained green beans. Heat all the way through.
  • Step 2
    Add drained can of mushrooms and stir to mix evenly among green beans.
  • Step 3
    Add butter. After the butter has melted, add the package of ranch dressing mix.
  • Step 4
    Stir until green beans and mushrooms are evenly coated in the sauce.
  • Step 5
    Continue to gently stir until mushrooms are heated all the way through.
  • Step 6
    Right before removing from heat, add the the bacon bits and stir to evenly distribute them.
  • Step 7
    Serve and ENJOY!
