  • 1 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    grated onion
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 4 c
    thawed,cooked frozen french style green beans
  • 1/2 lb
    swiss cheese
  • 2 c
    corn flakes
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, melted

How to Make Swiss Green Bean Casserole


  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large saucepan over medium, stir in flour, salt, pepper, sugar and onion.
  3. Add beans. Mix together and heat thoroughly.
  4. Pour into greased casserole dish. Grate the swiss cheese over the top.
  5. Crush cornflakes and mix with the melted butter. Put on top of the beans.
  6. Cover and bake 20 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
