Ingredients

2 Tbsp
butter
2 Tbsp
flour
1 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
pepper
1 tsp
sugar
1/2 tsp
grated onion
1 c
sour cream
4 c
thawed,cooked frozen french style green beans
1/2 lb
swiss cheese
2 c
corn flakes
2 Tbsp
butter, melted

How to Make Swiss Green Bean Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 400.
  • 2Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large saucepan over medium, stir in flour, salt, pepper, sugar and onion.
  • 3Add beans. Mix together and heat thoroughly.
  • 4Pour into greased casserole dish. Grate the swiss cheese over the top.
  • 5Crush cornflakes and mix with the melted butter. Put on top of the beans.
  • 6Cover and bake 20 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
