WE GO UP TO GREEN BLUFF, WA. QUITE OFTEN AND PICK, PULL, OR BUY FRESH FRUITS AND VEGETABLES. RIGHT FROM THE MANY FAAMILY OWNED FARMS UP CLOSE TO SPOKANE,MT. ONLY A 1/2 HOUR FROM HOME. HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS FRESH CARROT RECIPE. THIS PAINTING I DID LAST SAT. It REMINDS ME OF GREEN BLUFF,WA. IT IS MY VERY FIRST PAINTING! GUESS I WANTED TO SHOW OFF, JUST A LITTLE...FORGIVE ME. NANCY

- 1 pound fresh carrots
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
How To Make sweet & spicy carrots from greenbluff, wa.

Step 1WASH , pare, and cut up carrots....y0ur choice hunks, slices, or thisk sticks. Place carrots in a saucepan, bring to a boil, cover and cook 3-4 minutes. You will want them a little firm, not soft and mushy. Test with a fork .

Step 2Drain water from pan. Add butter and simmer for 2-3 minutes,to coat. Add honey, brown sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon. Mix and continue cooking,on low,stirring frequently. For about 3 minutes. Till firm tender.

Step 3Serve when ready.
