I found this recipe while trying to find something different for my Thanksgiving meal. It's now a family favorite !! Even those who aren't crazy about onions love these !

Ingredients
- 2 - jumbo red onions, cut crosswise, 3/4" thick
- 2 - jumbo white or yellow onions, cut crosswise.3/4" thick
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
How To Make sweet roasted onions

Step 1Preheat oven to 400. Keep slices intact, place red onions on 1 baking sheet & white onions on another.

Step 2With brush, coat both sides of onion with oil & sprinkle with salt.

Step 3Roast for 45 minutes.

Step 4With spatula, flip onions over & rotate pans. Cook 3o more minutes or until tender & golden.

Step 5Meanwhile mix brown sugar & cider vinegar together.

Step 6Brush on onions & roast 5 more minutes.
