PEEL AND COOK SWEET POTATOES TILL TENDER. MASH AND ADD CREAM AND 1 TBLS. OF SUGAR AND BUTTER. MIX THOROUGHLY.

ARRANGE 1/2 THE SLICES OF BANANA AROUND THE EDGE OF A BUTTERED CASSEROLE. FILL THE CASSEROLE UP WITH THE SWEET POTATO MIXTURE AND TOP WITH REMAINING BANANAS. SPRINKLE REMAINING SUGAR AND BUTTER ON TOP. BAKE AT 400 FOR 30 MINUTES.
