Ingredients For sweet potato fries with maple sauce

  • 6 sweet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 t. chopped fresh basil
  • 1 t. kosher salt
  • 1/2 t. freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 t. plain yogurt
  • 1 t. cinnamon
  • 1/2 t. nutmeg
  • cayenne pepper to taste

How To Make sweet potato fries with maple sauce

  • 1
    Slice sweet potatoes into sticks 1/2 inch wide. Drizzle with olive oil on baking sheet and toss to coat well. Arrange in single layer. Bake at 400 for 40 minutes or until cooked through. Mix the basil, kosher salt and pepper in a bowl. Sprinkle over the sweet potatoes. Mix the maple syrup, yogurt, and cinnamon, nutmeg and cayenne pepper in a jar with a tight fitting lid and seal tightly. Shake to mix well. Serve with the fries. Serves 6 Big Taste of Little Rock
