sweet potato cranberry casserole
I love sweet potatoes and yams. The flavor of the sweet and tart of the cranberries is perfect in this dish. This is another recipe I obtained from a cookbook called "Savoring Cape Cod" offered by the Audubon in Wellfleet, MA Submitted by Doris B. Miller

Ingredients
- 4 - good sized sweet potatoes or yams, boiled, peeled, and cut in 3/4-inch slices
- 1 - 12 ounce package fresh cranberries
- - 1 1/4 -1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup pecan halves
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
How To Make sweet potato cranberry casserole

Step 1Combine cranberries, sugar, pecan halves, orange juice and spices in a 2-quart casserole. Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes. Stir potatoes into cranberry mixture and bake 15 minutes or until heated through. Serves 8
