1Peel squash & cut in half lenght-wise, remove seeds & membranes.
2Cook squash in bioling salt water, about 25 minutes. Drain and mash
3Add sugar, spice, & butter with mixer until smooth.
4Add eggs and vanilla mix well
5Pour into al lightly greased 2 qt baking dish garnish with pecans if you like and bake 30 min.
