Ingredients

  • 2 pounds butternut squash
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumkin pie spice

How To Make sweet butternut squash

  • Step 1
    Peel squash & cut in half lenght-wise, remove seeds & membranes.
  • Step 2
    Cook squash in bioling salt water, about 25 minutes. Drain and mash
  • Step 3
    Add sugar, spice, & butter with mixer until smooth.
  • Step 4
    Add eggs and vanilla mix well
  • Step 5
    Pour into al lightly greased 2 qt baking dish garnish with pecans if you like and bake 30 min.
