Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 4 large carrots
- 3 tablespoons each brown sugar and cider vinegar
- 2 - apples peeled and cut in slices and then cut into match stick size.
- - juice of 1 lemon
- 1 large sweet yellow pepper cut in match stick pieces
- 1 cup chestnuts cut in half
- 4 cups red cabbage shredded
How To Make sweet and sour red cabbage

Step 1Melt butter in skillet add caraway seeds and garlicand cook for 3 minutes. Peel carrots and shred on large box grater, add carrots, pepper, and cook 2 minutes add 1/4 cup water, brown sugar and vinegar to skillet bring to a simmer , cover and cook 8 to 10 minutes until vegetables are fork tender.

Step 2Add cabbage, apples and chestnuts and cook for 5 minutes...remove from stove and pour lemon juice on top..
