Sweet and Sour Green Beans
1 smallonion ( chopped )
32 ozpkg. frozen green beas ( thawed ) or you can use canned or fresh
2 Tbspapple cider vinegar
1/4 tspsalt to start or to your taste
1/4 tsppepper to start or to your taste
How to Make Sweet and Sour Green Beans
- Cut Bacon into 1 inch segments with kitchen shears, add bacon and chopped onion in a skillet and place over medium Heat, cook untill Bacon is Browned , Keep Grease in the skillet and remove Bacon and onions with a slotted spoon to a plate and Set Aside - Add the Green Beans to the skillet with the Bacon Grease , cooking Beans to your desired tenderness , In a small bowl stir the sugar and vinegar togeather and then stir into the beans mixing in well, add the bacon and onions back into the Beans, Turn heat to a simmer and cook a few minutes for the flavors to meld, Add your salt and pepper to taste. Best served Warm.
