How to Make Sweet and Sour Green Beans
- 1Rinse green beans in cold water twice and drain.
In large fry pan with lid, fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon to paper towel and set aside. Stir in vinegar and sugar. Heat until sugar is dissolved. Add beans, salt and pepper to taste. Cover and simmer 20 - 30 minutes until very little liquid is left. Serve pipping hot topped with reserved crumbled bacon.
