Truly a different twist to green beans and a very unexpected but pleasant flavor, I have been making these green beans for my family and friends since high school; a very long time.

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound bacon, uncooked, cut into small pieces
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cans cut green beans
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup apple cider vinegar
How To Make sweet and sour green beans

Step 1cook bacon on medium until browned, but not crispy, add onion and continue to cook until onions are tender, stirring occassionally

Step 2add the liquid from 2 cans of green beans (liquid only) add sugar and apple cider vinegar, cook on medium high until liquid is reduced to about 1 inch, add green beans cook until liquid is completely absorbed.
