sweet and sour baked bean

This is a nice recipe for both kids and adults. The red frenso pepper is not that spicy. My friends son just spoons it in a hotdog bun and eat's it as a sloppy dog. Hot crusty roll are a must.

Ingredients

  • 64 ounces (4)16 ounce cans campbells pork and beans
  • 2 packages ball park bun size beef hotdogs, sliced into 1 inch pieces
  • 16 ounces dole pineapple chunks, well drained
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 - red frenso peppers, seeded and diced
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dried instant minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon dried instant minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

How To Make sweet and sour baked bean

  • Step 1
    Pre-Heat oven to 375 degrees
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, mix everything really well.
  • Step 3
    Transfer to a 9x13 pan. (I use the aluminum pan for easy clean up). Bake uncovered 45 minutes or until bubbly around the edges
