How to Make Summer Squash Casserole
- Cook squash and onion with sugar, oleo, water and salt until squash is tender (drain if all water is not cooked out).
- Alternate with cheese in casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
- Just before serving, add the French fried onion to top. Place back in oven for about 15 minutes. Serve while hot.
