  • 4 lb
    yellow squash, diced
  • 1 medium
    onion, diced
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 (103/4) oz
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (4) oz
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 3/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 2 c
    corn flakes coarsely crushed
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted

How to Make Summer Squash Bake


  1. preheat oven to 350. coat a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. in a large saucepan, cook squash and onion in water over medium heat 15 minutes or until tender, drain well.
  3. in medium bowl, combine drained squash mixture, soup, cheese, salt and pepper, mix well and pour into baking dish. sprinkle with crushed corn flakes and drizzle with melted butter.
  4. BAKE 18 TO 20 minutes or until heated through and topping is golden.
