Ingredients

  • 4 cups chopped raw broccoli, florets (and stem if desired)
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup kraft real bacon bits
  • 1 cup sharp shredded cheddar
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped white or yellow onion
  • 1 1/2 cups light miracle whip
  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 1/4 cup splenda or sugar
  • 1 pinch black pepper

How To Make summer broccoli salad

  • Step 1
    Mix the first 6 ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.
  • Step 2
    Cream together miracle whip, milk, sugar, and pepper to form a salad dressing consistency. If it seems to thick, add a little more milk.
  • Step 3
    Mix in the dressing with the ingredients from step one.
  • Step 4
    Can be served right away, although I like it best after it chills for about 15-20 minutes.
