Ingredients

  • 1
    large head of broccoli
  • 1/4 c
    sweet onion (finely chopped)
  • 8 - 10
    strips of strips of bacon (fried and crumbled)
  • 1 c
    golden raisins
  • 1 c
    sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp
    cider vinegar
  • 1/3 c
    sugar (or to taste)
  • 1/4 c
    salted sunflower seeds

How to Make Summer Broccoli Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Toss broccoli, onion, bacon, raisins and cheese. Mix mayo, vinegar and sugar. Chill. Pour over vegetable mixture several ours before serving and toss. Just before serving mix in sunflower seeds.
