sue's baked beans
I don't usually use recipes, so I use this as my basic recipe and tweak it to suit my taste for where I am using it or taking it. It is easy to adjust to your taste.

Ingredients
- 2 cans van camps pork and beans
- 1/2 cup catsup{ or more to taste}
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 2 teaspoons molassas or maple syrup
- 1 medium onion chopped fine
- 1 small bell pepper chopped
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons cooked bacon bits for garnish
How To Make sue's baked beans

Step 1Mix the beans and seasonings together and stir well to blend

Step 2Fold in chopped onion and chopped bell pepper. Let set for a few minutes to absorb flavors.

Step 3Spray a 9x13 glass baking dish(I prefer glass) with cooking spray, bottom and sides. Pour bean mixture in dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle bacon bits evenly over beans.

Step 4Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until bubbly all over, but still juicy. The liquid will set as the beans cool. Enjoy!
