Ingredients
- 2 pounds fresh string beans
- 1 - onion, chopped
- 2 - potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 2 - carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 3/4 cup olive or canola oil
- 1(8 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons salt
- Dash - pepper
- - chopped parsley & mint
How To Make string beans & tomato sauce

Step 1Sauté onions lightly in oil.

Step 2Add tomato sauce, salt & pepper and simmer for 15 minutes.

Step 3Add string beans and remaining ingredients. Cover and cook slowly for 1 hour or until tender.
