This is one of the many recipes I found with my Grandma's recipes that I inherited.

Ingredients

6 c
sliced yellow squash
1 c
diced celery
1/2 c
chopped onions
1 can(s)
10 1/2 oz. cream of chicken soup
3/4 c
half & half
4 oz
buttered cracker, crushed
1/2 stick
butter
dash(es)
salt & pepper to taste

Step-By-Step

1Simmer squash, celery, onions in water till tender. Drain add half & half to soup & pour over squash mixture.While still warm, Toss Lightly.
2Melt half the butter in casserole, Then layer of cracker crumbs, then a layer of squash mixture. Repeat crumbs & squash layers ending with crumbs on top.
3Dot with other half of butter. Bake at 375 for 30-35 mins.
