My sister gave me this recipe back in 1978 and it has always been a favorite of mine.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds yellow squash (cooked & drained)
- 2 large eggs (beat until frothy)
- 1 small can green chilies (chopped)
- 1 medium onion (chopped fine)
- 1 small jar cheese whiz
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- - buttered bread crumbs
How To Make squash casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Butter a 9 x 13 dish.

Step 2Spread cheese whiz on bottom of buttered 9 x 13 dish.

Step 3Spread cooked & drained squash over cheese.

Step 4Beat eggs until frothy, add chopped onion & green chilies. Spread on top of squash.

Step 5Top with Cream of Celery soup (undiluted).

Step 6Can also add buttered bread crumbs after it cooks for a while so they don't burn.

Step 7Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in 375 oven.
