Ingredients

  • 2 pounds squash, fresh
  • 1 jar pimento
  • 2 small onions, chopped
  • 2 packages prepared stuffing mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 4 small carrots, grated
  • 1 stick butter

How To Make squash casserole

  • Step 1
    Cook squash in salted water and drain.
  • Step 2
    Mash.
  • Step 3
    Mix all other ingredients with squash except 1/2 stuffing mix.
  • Step 4
    Mix half the stuffing mix with the butter.
  • Step 5
    Line casserole dish with part of butter mix.
  • Step 6
    Fill with filling and top with rest of butter mix.
  • Step 7
    Cook 350 degree for 40 minutes.
