How to Make Spring Peas and Dumplings
- cook peas according to directions on package just before they are done add:
- biscuits, each one cut into 4 pieces like a small pie,add salt and pepper to taste.
- cover and cook about 10 minutes with out peeking until dumplings are done.
- you may use fresh peas that you shell yourself, in this case it will take a little longer to cook and you should use 3 pounds allowing for the weight of the shells.
