How to Make Spinach Cheese Squares
- Preheat oven to 350. In 9 x 13" pan, melt butter while preheating oven, then remove from oven. Squeeze excess water out of spinach with your hands.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs, add flour, milk, salt, baking powder & spinach. Mix well. (You can also do this in your food processor.)
- Pour into baking pan and bake for 40 minutes. Cool 45 minutes to set. Cut into bite sized squares for appetizer. As a side dish, cut into 20 larger squares.
- Just a tip: when done, the center of this dish is still shiny and wet looking. IT WILL SET as it cools.
