Yummy side dish. Got this recipe years ago from my husband's cousin and have loved it ever since.

Ingredients For spinach casserole

  • 2 pkg
    frozen chopped spinach
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1/4 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1/4 tsp
    basil, dried
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 3/4 c
    crushed triscuits
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, melted

How To Make spinach casserole

  • 1
    Cook spinach according to package directions ; drain thoroughly.

    Melt 1 stick butter in a saucepan; add cream cheese and spices. Mix thoroughly.

    Fold mixture into spinach and transfer into a greased 2-qt casserole dish.

    Top with crushed Triscuits which have been tossed with 2 Tbsp. melted butter.

    Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 45 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
