  • 2 pkg
    10-oz. pkgs. frozen chopped spinach, cooked and drained
  • 1/2 stick
    butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped onion
  • 3 Tbsp
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 3/4 tsp
    celery salt
  • 3/4 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1 tsp
    worchestershire sauce
  • 1
    6-oz. roll or jar jalapeno cheese
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable broth
  • ·
    bread crumbs for topping

How to Make Spicy Spinach Casserole


  1. Saute onions in butter until soft; add flour and cook briefly until onions are coated with flour. Add to spinach and mix well.
  2. Combine broth and next 6 ingredients (milk through jalapeno cheese) and cook over medium heat until cheese is melted. Combine cheese mixture with spinach and pour into a 9 x 13 inch casserole pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
  3. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
