Blue Ribbon Recipe

For the record, I plain love cabbage. But even with my high expectations of this dish, it was still a pleasant surprise! The mixture of the seasonings is spot on and the bacon was the perfect finishing touch.  I would serve this tasty side to anyone I liked any day of the week! The Test Kitchen

    green onions, chopped

    large head of cabbage chopped

    slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 c
    water
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    Accent seasoning
  • 1 tsp
    whole celery seed
  • 1 tsp
    creole seasoning, can be adjusted for spice level
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper, can be adjusted for spice level
