- 1/2 cup chopped red onion
- 3 - garlic cloves, minced
- 1 - celery rib, sliced
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1/2 teaspoon tumeric
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 3 cups zucchini, cubed
- 2 1/2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
How To Make spiced zucchini and peas in tomato sauce

Step 1Saute onions, garlic and celery in oil for 2 minutes.

Step 2Add turmeric, cumin and zucchini.

Step 3Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.

Step 4Add tomato sauce, peas and cayenne pepper and cook until zucchini is tender, about 15 minutes.

Step 5HINT: Use chopped fresh or canned tomatoes instead of tomato sauce.
