This is a new side dish that my family tried recently and we love it. The flavor is incredible and it gives a great new spin to a family favorite. Enjoy

Ingredients

  • 4-6 - ears of corn (white is best)
  • 1 cup butter (melted)
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • - chili powder
  • - parmesan cheese (shredded)

How To Make smokey grilled corn on the cob

  • Step 1
Put the corn in a pot of water and boil for around 10 minutes
  • Step 2
Mix the butter and lime juice together
  • Step 3
Take the ears of corn out of the water and put them on the a very low burning grill or on a hanging rack if your grill has one. Grill for 5-10 minutes making sure you turn the corn often to avoid excessive charring
  • Step 4
After the corn comes off the grill brush it with the butter lime mixture and sprinkle with chili powder and parmesan cheese.
  • Step 5
You can use the chili powder and cheese to taste. We use the chili powder liberally because I think it's the key flavor in this recipe. Enjoy
