Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup beer, at room temperature
- 2 teaspoons old bay seasoning
- ***** - ice water
- 2 - vidalia onions, sliced to form rings
- ***** - oil for deep-frying
How To Make simple beer batter onion rings

Step 1Mix first 3 ingredients and let rest for 30 minutes.

Step 2Soak sliced onions in ice water for 30 minutes.

Step 3Drain onions and dry with paper towels.

Step 4Heat oil to 365 degrees.

Step 5Dip onions in batter, letting excess drain off and fry in batches without crowding for 3-4 minutes. Drain and salt.
