It is very important to use shoepeg corn (sweet, white, small kernel corn)...it really makes a difference.
You can use green chilies if jalapenoes are to hot for your taste...but try it first with jalapeno - the flavor is great.
jalapenoes - seeded and chopped (depending on how hot you want)
softened cream cheese

Melt butter, cream cheese, milk, and garlic salt. Bring to a boil to make a sauce.
Add drained corn and jalapenoes. Mix
Put in 2 quart buttered dish. Bake 30 minutes in 350 degree oven.
Double recipe for a 9x13 pan.
