How To Make sheet pan crispy cheesy oven-baked broccoli
-
Step 1Place oven rack in middle of oven and heat oven to 400 degrees. Preheat a rimmed baking sheet on middle rack.
-
Step 2In a large bowl, toss broccoli florets with olive oil and kosher salt - mix well to ensure well coated.
-
Step 3Add broccoli florets to hot baking sheet and roast for approximately 15 minutes or until florets are nicely browned - watch carefully.
-
Step 4Combine butter and garlic in an oven-proof dish and place in the oven until butter melts - approx. 5 minutes. Place bread crumbs in a medium bowl and add butter/garlic mixture -- toss with a fork. Add cheddar and parmesan cheeses and toss to combine.
-
Step 5Remove the sheet pan from the oven and sprinkle the broccoli with bread crumb mixture. Turn on broiler and place sheet pan on the upper rack for 1-2 minutes --watch carefully to prevent burning.
-
Step 6Remove sheet pan and transfer broccoli florets to a platter or serving dish.
