sesame stir-braised kale
No Image
Kale has always been one of my favorite greens. This recipe breaks down cooking time in sections, with the last being 20 minutes to 1 hour having pan covered & standing for this amount of time for flavors to meld. I made that time as part of the cooking time. I listed the time as 35 minutes. But, you should test for the doneness and flavor that you prefer.

How To Make sesame stir-braised kale
-
1In a large nonstick skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and ginger, and cook, stirring often, for about 1 minute, or until softened.
-
2Add stock and kale. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the kale is wilted and tender. Drain excess liquid, if necessary. Add soy sauce and toss gently. Cover and let stand for at least 20 minutes and up to 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
-
3To serve, transfer the kale to a serving platter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Toss and serve.
