Texas has some great mushroom farms at the market and green beans and jicama are already out from the local farms. I love anything with a little hint of Asian....these were tasty enough to enjoy by themselves ...

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound fresh button mushrooms, sliced
- 4 teaspoons sesame oil
- 3/4 pound fresh green beans, ends trimmed off
- 3/4 cup jicama, peeled and sicedinto thin bite-sized pieces
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
How To Make sesame mushrooms, green beans and jicama

Step 1Preheat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the mushrooms to the HOT pan and let them sit for 2 minutes before flipping them to brown on the other side for 2 minutes

Step 2Add the green beans and jicama; season with a pinch of salt and pepper

Step 3Combine the water, soy sauce, honey, salt and pepper, to taste; mix well. Pour the sauce into the pan and cook the green bean mixture for 3-4 minutes, or until the green beans are tender-crisp. Remove from the heat and stir in half the sesame seeds.

Step 4Place on serving dish and sprinkle with remaining sesame seeds.
