I like to make these with fresh as well as frozen green beans. I'll have plenty of fresh in a couple of months since they're going in the garden.

Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh green beans cleaned and snapped into 2 inch pieces
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion sliced thin
- 1 large clove garlic
- 1/4 cup white cooking wine or regular wine (use less salt when using the cooking wine)
- - salt/pepper to taste
How To Make seasoned green beans

Step 1Once green beans are cleaned and snapped, blanch them in boiling water for about 30 seconds. Remove and put directly into ice water, then drain.

Step 2Melt 3 T. butter in pan and add onion and garlic (pressed through a garlic press). Cook until transluscent. Add green beans and wine as well as salt and pepper. Add the last of the butter and cook until liquid reduces (usually a few minutes or so). Serve and enjoy.
