- onion sliced thin

- clove garlic
- 1/4 c
- white cooking wine or regular wine (use less salt when using the cooking wine)
- salt/pepper to taste
How to Make Seasoned Green Beans
- 1Once green beans are cleaned and snapped, blanch them in boiling water for about 30 seconds. Remove and put directly into ice water, then drain.
- 2Melt 3 T. butter in pan and add onion and garlic (pressed through a garlic press). Cook until transluscent. Add green beans and wine as well as salt and pepper. Add the last of the butter and cook until liquid reduces (usually a few minutes or so). Serve and enjoy.
