Ingredients

  • 1 cup celery, finely sliced
  • 1 - large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 1/2 cups garlic & onion croutons
  • 2-14.5 oz. cans stewed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • - salt and pepper, to taste

How To Make scalloped tomatoes

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375° and spray a 1 1/2 quart casserole.
  • Step 2
    Saute celery and onion in butter until slightly soft.
  • Step 3
    Add croutons and stewed tomatoes. Mix in sugar, salt and pepper and mix well.
  • Step 4
    Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
