i recieved this recipe from my mother-in-law. it was passed down to her from her mother. we have this every thanksgiving. she now lives two thousand miles away, my husband really enjoys this dish. I just had to get it.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans cream corn
  • 1 to 2 packages crushed crackers or oyster crackers
  • - salt
  • - pepper
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter, cold

How To Make scalloped corn

  • Step 1
    add the corn and crushed crackers to a cassarole dish. add the salt and pepper to taste.
  • Step 2
    mix in the egg and butter. Add the milk as needed. should be consistancy of soup.
  • Step 3
    cover with foil and bake in the oven for an hour. Check at half hour for doneness. let stand for five minutes before serving.
