I found this recipe in a microwave recipe book from my first microwave. My husband doesn't really like cooked cauliflower, but he really likes this. It is fast and easy.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium
    head of cauliflower
  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1 tsp
    dry minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 4 slice
    colby cheese, colby jack cheese, cheddar cheese
  • ·
    paprika

How to Make Savory Cauliflower

Step-by-Step

  1. Cut cone shape wedge out of cauliflower core. Place in 1 1/2 qt. microwaveable casserole dish with 1/4 cup water. Cover and cook on HI (max power) for 9 minutes. Drain moisture.
  2. Mix mayonnaise, onion, mustard and salt. Spoon sauce over cauliflower. Lay cheese slices over top of cauliflower. Cook, uncovered, on 70% (roast) for 1 minutes or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle top with paprika.
  3. Let stand 2 minutes before serving.
